About
Modentra is my consulting practice in Pavia, Italy: cloud native, Kubernetes, OpenShift and AI agents, backed by more than twenty years in software.
I started by writing software and have led development teams on projects for banks, telecoms and publishing. In recent years I have worked on architecture, DevOps, security and compliance (PCI-DSS) in environments that handle payment card data: Kubernetes and OpenShift, automation with Ansible and Jenkins, high availability, backup, access control and audits. Outside work, home automation and IoT.
I am a certified Scrum Master: I know how to run a team in an agile way and how to train the people who take over what I build. That is why my work ends when your team can maintain it alone.

- I choose the simplest solution that holds up. Kubernetes when it is needed, not by default.

- Every engagement starts from a verifiable goal: release time, cost, reliability, the quality of an agent's answers.
- Transparent
- Scope, timing and cost in writing. I also tell you when you do not need me.
- Team autonomy
- Code and documentation stay with you. The work ends when you can maintain it without me.
